Art is everything
I have been getting my hands dirty in any form of visual medium for as long as I can remember, my love of animals being the main muse for my work. one of my earliest memories is drawing a dragon with my brother, Gregory, in the floor of our living room.
As I grew up, I would go through phases of wondering what I wanted to be as an adult. A paleontologist. A veterinarian. A police officer. A psychologist. But art always drew me back into it’s arms like an old friend. I was constantly experimenting with new art mediums, but one day, when I was 12 years old, my brother gave me his old graphics tablet. So I opened up Microsoft paint and started drawing. Shortly after that I started taking my first online commissions, getting involved with online communities of artists and going through the motions of learning new techniques, earning money for better equipment and really developing my skills.
Once I got to college, my artwork really started to drastically improve, as I learned more traditional methods and applied them to the digital medium, while also rediscovering my love for charcoal, ceramics and carving! in 2022, after health complications and drawbacks and much discouragement, I finally graduated with a bachelors in Visual Art.
Since then I have really leaned in to character design and free-lance art commissions, but I hope to join a professional studio some day soon!
